SoMo Showcase: 2011 Infiniti M

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

MIAMI, FL: Last month, the all-new 2011 Infiniti M made its virtual appearance at the 59th Annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and the press has been discussing it ever since. This 3rd generation of Infiniti’s popular M will be the first one sold around the world in all 32 markets that Infiniti serves.

This next-generation design will be offered in a V6 and V8 trim level. The M with the V8 is expected to produce more than 400 HP, and both will have a completely redesigned body, with classical sports sedan proportions, aggressive styling and a low front end sporting deeply sculpted fenders. It will be no surprise to anyone that the inside is rich in luxury and an enhanced quality feel…in a nutshell, typical Infiniti attention to the finer, richer things in life. Performance from the engine has improved, while fuel economy has increased as well.

As usual, the all-new 2011 Infiniti M will be laden with the latest in technology. A specific one to note would be the revolutionary blind spot intervention system. This industry-first feature will alert the driver if another vehicle is detected in an adjacent lane during a lane change, and then help the driver to return the vehicle to the center of his own.

The 2011 Infiniti M Lease or purchase will be available starting in the spring of 2010. Here’s some early shots of this beautiful car, brought to you by South Infiniti.

This versatile CUV makes its way soon to South Florida

MIAMI, FL: South Honda is proud to announce the all-new 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour will be arriving in the coming months. The sporty Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV), evolves the utility class by integrating a rakish, aerodynamic shape and sporty low profile with all of the versatility of a CUV.

“Our concept is to broaden the appeal of the Accord line-up by leveraging traditional Accord strengths of fun-to-drive performance and handling while also adapting to dramatic shifts in the light truck marketplace,” said Erik Berkman, vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “The Accord Crosstour accomplishes that by offering a modern interpretation of a CUV while integrating the refinement and efficiency of a premium sedan.”

With its roots tracing directly back to the much-loved Honda Accord Sedan, the Accord Crosstour maintains the fun and refinement of one of America’s most popular sedans and yet broadens its capabilities with a CUV’s ride height and all-weather performance. The bold character lines and sleek stance create an aggressive look, while be able to adapt to cargo and passenger space that would exceed the capacity of a typical sedan.

The Accord Crosstour is scheduled to arrive in Miami this fall. Visit South Honda online for additional details regarding the lease or purchase of this remarkably versatile vehicle, and order yours today.

SoMo Showcase: 2010 Honda Ridgeline

Honda’s Versatile Pickup

With its closed-box, unit-body architecture, the 5-passenger Honda Ridgeline pickup rules from a high pedestal in the half-ton truck segment. Offering a comfortable ride performance with its pickup capabilities, the 2010 Honda Ridgeline is a remarkably gentle beast – something quite rare for a pickup truck.

With the versatility of a conventional pickup and a maximum tow rating of 5,000 pounds to compliment its half-ton payload rating, the Ridgeline also offers unique characteristics like the “In-Bed Trunk and an independent front and rear suspension.

“The Honda Ridgeline excels at hauling motorcycles, towing a boat or even taking the curvy road home,” said Erik Berkman, vice president of American Honda. “It’s tough when it needs to be and refined the rest of the time.”

Powered by a 250HP 3.5 liter VTEC V6, the Ridgeline offers plenty of power and performance, without the impact on fuel economy that most pickups suffer.

The four-door cabin takes advantage of the Ridgeline’s unit-body to offer spacious, full-size passenger room without sacrificing its garage-friendly exterior dimensions. Thanks to the rigidness of the unit-body design, the Ridgeline provides incredible safety performance and a class-defining ride. Modern and athletic, it maintains a solid one-piece appearance between bed and cab. The cargo area measures over 49 inches between wheel wells and 60 inches in length.

If you are considering a Miami lease or purchase for a rugged but comfortable pickup in the half-ton range, be sure to stop by South Honda and take a look at the 2010 Honda Ridgeline. This year’s Ridgeline will not disappoint.
